Renault accepts orders for the R 5
Renault will be accepting the first regular orders for the R 5 E-Tech Electric, which will be available from next year, from May 31. The two models initially available have a 52 kWh battery for a standard range of up to 410 kilometers. The motor delivers 110 kW (150 PS) and accelerates the R 5 to 100 km/h in under eight seconds. The later basic version with an entry-level price of just under 25,000 euros can travel up to 300 kilometers.
The two versions available to order at market launch, the Techno and Iconic Five, are available from 32,900 euros. Alternatively, leasing rates are available from 279 euros per month with a special payment of 5100 euros. The vehicles are equipped with a heat pump, an 11 kW AC charger, a fast charger for up to 100 kW direct current, automatic air conditioning and 18-inch wheels as standard. There is also a reversing camera, adaptive cruise control and a 10-inch digital driver display as well as a 10.1-inch central monitor for the multimedia system with Google. (aum)
