Fiat Ducato with new automatic transmission on request

Fiat now also offers a newly developed torque converter automatic transmission with eight gearshifts for the Ducato. It is available for the engine variants with 140 hp (103 kW) and 180 hp (132 kW) and helps to reduce fuel consumption by up to ten percent compared to the previous generation. The hydraulic control system also achieves shorter shift times. Filling with long-life oil reduces operating costs.

The new transmission is available for the Fiat Ducato in the panel van body versions (sheet metal and glazed, also Maxi) up to a gross vehicle weight of 4,250 kilograms. Chassis that serve as the basis for motorhomes up to a gross vehicle weight of five tons or 6.5 tons including trailer load, for example, can also be ordered with the new automatic transmission. (aum)
