Volkswagen pays out 4.5 billion euros

At the Annual General Meeting of Volkswagen AG yesterday, the shareholders followed the proposal of the Board of Management and Supervisory Board and resolved almost unanimously to pay an increased dividend of €9.00 per ordinary share and €9.06 per preference share for 2023. This corresponds to a payout ratio of 28 percent and an increase of 30 cents per share. In total, Volkswagen AG is distributing 4.5 billion euros to shareholders for the past financial year. (aum)
