VW rounds off ID-3 range upwards and downwards

Volkswagen is now offering the ID 3 in three further versions: In addition to the improved Pro, the new Pure entry-level model and the new top-of-the-range GTX model with 210 kW (285 PS) complete the range. They all feature the new software and infotainment generation with a 12.9-inch (32.8 centimeter) display and an improved operating concept. In addition, the enhanced augmented reality head-up display, a newly designed wellness app and a premium sound system are available as options. The net battery sizes range from 79 kWh in the ID 3 GTX to 59 kWh in the Pro and 52 kWh in the Pure.

The VW ID 3 GTX with specific body details and sports seats develops a maximum torque of 545 Newton meters and accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The top speed is 180 km/h and the standard range is 604 kilometers. Charging is possible with up to 185 kW.

The ID 3 Pro also features the new software and infotainment generation as well as the improved operating concept. In addition, there is now the option to digitally upgrade the power output from 150 kW (203 PS) to 170 kW (231 PS). This improves acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h to 6.6 seconds. The new battery enables a combined WLTP range of up to 434 kilometers. The maximum charging power increases from the previous 120 kW to 165 kW.

The ID 3 Pure has an output of 125 kW (170 PS) and can travel up to 388 kilometers with a full battery. The maximum charging power is 145 kW.

The ID 3 Pure is available from 36,900 euros, the ID 3 Pro starts at 39,995 euros and the GTX costs 50,795 euros. (aum)
