Volvo EX40/EC40: E for Extra Boost
What to do if the model is still in good shape but is getting a bit long in the tooth? A facelift, a little more power and targeted upgrades is the usual answer from manufacturers. And perhaps a little more color and one or two special models. This is the case with the Volvo XC40 series, which, like its larger siblings, now also has a "Black Edition". There is also a new two-tone paint finish called "Sand Dune". In addition, the electric models now follow the new brand nomenclature with the E for electric in the identifier - also with extra E-Boost on request. (aum/fw)
