When Laura doesn't know what to do...

Skoda is expanding the range of functions of its digital voice assistant Laura with chat GPT. In addition to information already available, the AI can also answer questions that were previously beyond Laura's knowledge. The Chat Pro function is now available for the new generations of the Superb and Kodiaq, for the revised Octavia and the Enyaq from model year 2024 with the new software version 4.0.

If a question goes beyond the categories "Vehicle", "Data", "Weather", "News", "Sport" or "Stocks", Chat Pro, which is linked to Chat-GPT, automatically takes over. If the system accesses it, Laura announces this with the words "According to Chat-GPT ...". Voice control remains unchanged for the user. The function can also be deactivated via the personal settings in the infotainment system. It only remains active in Enyaq models that support this function.

Skoda emphasizes that the artificial intelligence does not access vehicle data or personal user information. All requests are anonymous and are deleted immediately. The software currently supports German, English, Spanish and Czech. (aum)
