Nightjet pauses on some routes

Due to extensive construction work in Germany and France, ÖBB is suspending some Nightjet connections from August 12 to October 25. The routes affected are Vienna - Paris as well as Berlin - Paris and Brussels. From October 28, all night trains will run again as scheduled. The Vienna - Brussels connection is not affected and will continue to run three times a week.

With this temporary measure, the European night train partners ÖBB, DB, SNCF and SNCB (NMBS) want to spare travelers possible train cancellations and delays. No tickets have yet been sold for the affected trains. For passengers who want to travel from Vienna to Paris, there are alternatives according to the Austrian Federal Railways in daytime traffic or with the Nightjet to Brussels and then with the Eurostar to Paris.
