Maxus presses the pedal

Like almost all Chinese brands, Maxus is also pushing the pedal to the metal in Europe. The brand, which specializes in light commercial vehicles, is now also launching an electric SUV under the name Euniq 6, which costs 53,451 euros and is powered by a 130 kW (170 hp) electric motor. The battery with a capacity of 70 kWh has a range of 354 kilometers according to the WLTP. The equipment is complete, the only extra is a metallic paint finish for 800 euros.

But the Maxus van range is also growing. The e-Deliver 7 electric panel van closes the gap between the BEV models 5 and 9. Two vehicle lengths and battery sizes are available, the 3.5-ton vans can carry up to 1150 kilograms and 5.9 or 6.7 cubic meters of cargo.

A 150 kW (204 hp) electric motor provides propulsion; with the smaller 77 kWh battery, the e-Deliver 7 can travel a maximum of 318 kilometers, while the more powerful 88 kWh battery enables a range of 362 kilometers. The entry-level price for the shorter van with the smaller battery is 54,728 euros. (aum)
