Height-adjustable bed in the rear
Hymer subsidiary Etrusco has come up with something new for its camper van range: The new CV 640 PB layout, which has a height-adjustable lengthways bed in the rear, will be available from the fall. This allows the height of the rear storage space to be increased electrically from 73 centimetres to up to 140 centimetres. This increases the capacity of the rear garage from around 1350 to up to 2365 liters. Thanks to the new arrangement of the gas cylinders, the width has also been increased to 1.11 meters. According to the manufacturer, this provides sufficient space for a bicycle or a small scooter if required.
The layout of the almost 6.36-meter-long camper is based on the CV 640 SB. The base vehicle is the Fiat Ducato 35 Light with 140 hp (103 kW). Alternatively, the PB is also available with 180 hp (130 kW) and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The base price is 58,999 euros. (aum)
