Moto Morini launches the Calibro

Moto Morini could have made it easy for itself and simply used the engine from the Seiemmezzo. But the new Calibro gets a 700-cubic drive with eight hp and, above all, 14 newton meters more torque. The custom bike with belt drive is somewhat reminiscent of the Honda CMX 500 Rebel in terms of style, but has a small lamp mask as standard. The Calibro Bagger with light touring fairing and the obligatory side panniers is also available as a second model variant.

The Calibro produces 69 hp (51 kW) at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of 68 Newton meters at 6500 rpm from the 693 cubic centimetre in-line twin cylinder. This allows the Morini to reach speeds of up to 175 km/h. The dry weight is specified at around 200 kilograms. The seat height is 72.5 centimeters and the tank holds around 15 liters. An 18-inch wheel is used at the front and two inches less at the rear.

The Moto Morini costs 7699 euros, the Bagger is 900 euros more expensive. (aum)
