Opel Combo Electric now available to order
Opel has opened the configurator for the new Opel Combo Electric. The high-roof electric car with the new "Vizor" brand face costs from €38,600 and offers, among other things, adaptive LED matrix headlights and a multimedia system with a 10-inch color touchscreen including wireless smartphone connectivity as standard, as well as up to 18 optional assistance systems.
Thanks to the further development of the all-electric powertrain and heat pump, Opel has specified a range of 345 kilometers according to the WLTP standard - around 60 kilometers more than before. The top speed of the 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor is limited to 135 km/h. The battery can be recharged to 80 percent in around 30 minutes at a DC fast-charging station with a maximum of 100 kW.
The Combo Electric is also available in two vehicle lengths: The 4.41-meter version seats up to 5 people, while the 4.76-meter version (Combo XL) optionally seats up to 7 occupants in three rows. On request, the high-roof Stromer can be flexibly configured with three individual seats in the second row. Depending on the seat configuration, the Combo XL offers a maximum load volume of 4000 liters (with the front passenger seat folded and loaded up to the roof). Features such as the separately opening window in the tailgate make it easier to access the load compartment. In addition, there are a total of 27 stowage options in the passenger compartment and the optional panoramic roof with a central roof gallery, which offers a further 186 liters for everyday items.
