New MG HS coming in the fall
MG is launching the new HS on the market in the fall. The SUV, which has grown to a length of 4.66 meters, is slightly wider and flatter and has an extra four and a half centimeters of wheelbase. The trunk volume increases by 44 liters to 507 liters. As a 1.5-liter petrol engine, the HS produces 169 hp (125 kW), while the plug-in hybrid gets 142 hp (105 kW) from the engine and couples this with a 154 kW (209 hp) electric motor. MG gives the purely electric range of the HS PHEV as over 100 kilometers.
In future, the SUV will have two 12.3-inch high-definition displays combined in one cockpit element. The display above the center console is dedicated to infotainment and offers live navigation services including weather and traffic information, access to Amazon Music and smartphone connectivity via Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The higher specification also features a new 360 camera and wireless smartphone charging as standard. (aum)
