Ducati slowly says goodbye
With the Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition, Ducati is gradually saying goodbye to its 955 cubic centimeter two-cylinder engine, which currently also powers the Streetfighter and has otherwise already been replaced by the 937 cubic centimeter Testastretta V2. The limited edition special model will be produced in a run of 555 units, which will be available from October at a price of 28,000 euros each. A certificate of authenticity and a special, personalized cover cloth will be included.
The Superquadro tribute paintwork uses the characteristic Ducati colors of white, red, black and grey and plays with the graphics of the brand logo, the shape of which is stretched to harmonize with the shapes of the motorcycle. The number panels follow these lines. The most striking element of the paintwork is the engine graphic applied to the side, which is kept in the background with shades of gray and follows the exact placement of the engine. The individual seat is decorated with embroidery.
In the Final Edition, the Panigale V2 is equipped with Öhlins suspension, steering damper and adjustable footrests from Rizoma made of billet aluminum. The mudguards and the rear silencer cover as well as the protection for the chain, swingarm, suspension strut and clutch cover guard are made of carbon. A lithium-ion battery reduces the weight. The animation of the display when switching on and the key are exclusive to the editon model. Each Panigale V2 Final Edition bears the consecutive number on the fork bridge milled from the solid.
If you want to use the collector's item on the racetrack, you can fit the kit for removing the license plate and mirrors as well as the billet aluminum fuel filler cap supplied with the motorcycle. The GPS module for DDA data acquisition is already included. (aum)
