Nismo returns to Europe with Ariya Nismo
With the Ariya Nismo, Nissan's motorsport division (NISMO) is bringing its first fully electric model to Europe. The 290 kW (394 hp) electric motor and 87 kWh battery remain unchanged in the all-wheel drive coupé crossover. However, the Nismo variant features sporty exterior accents and improved aerodynamics to reduce downforce at higher speeds.
The tuning also includes a sportier stability control system, tires with better grip, modified brake pads and a newly tuned e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system, which is designed to provide better power and torque distribution for motorsport-like handling and cornering.
The redesigned interior features a black interior with red accents for a sporty touch. Special Nismo seats are also used. The new Nissan Ariya Nismo will make its first appearance in Europe at the Formula E World Championship season finale in London next weekend. (aum)
