Porsche makes a profit of almost 3.1 billion euros

Porsche generated a turnover of 19.46 billion euros and a profit of 3.06 billion euros in the first half of the year. This is 4.8 percent and 20.5 percent less than in the first half of 2023. Deliveries to customers fell by 6.8 percent to 155,945 vehicles in the first half of the year. The past few months were characterized by the largest model change in the company's history. Five of the six model series were renewed. The economic situation in China also had a negative impact on the half-year figures. There were also delivery bottlenecks at suppliers. However, Porsche points to a strong second quarter with a Group return on sales of 17 percent "at the upper end of expectations". (aum)
