Renault starts test run with autonomous shuttles

Renault is expanding its collaboration with We Ride, an expert in the field of autonomous vehicles, in which the Group already invested six years ago. After Asia, the Middle East and North America, the first trials for public transportation are now to be launched in Europe. As a premium partner of the Roland-Garros Grand Slam tennis tournament, Renault is undertaking a first test run with electric and autonomous shuttles together with We Ride. From May 26 to June 9, minibuses will chauffeur tennis fans from a parking lot to the Roland-Garros stadium in a highly automated level 4 service. They will also be brought back at the end of the games. (aum)
