Volkswagen wants to keep combustion cars competitive

Volkswagen Group CFO Arno Antlitz explained at a Reuters news agency event in Munich that Volkswagen will keep combustion vehicles competitive. Of the 180 billion euro development budget planned by 2028, around 120 billion will be spent on the electrification and digitalization of the product range, Antlitz explained. After that, 60 billion euros are planned for the modernization and further development of combustion engines during this period - for the transition phase, as the CFO explained. (aum)
