How Nissan Interstar and Primastar become camper vans

At the Caravan Salon 2024 (30.08.-08.09.) in Düsseldorf, the new Nissan Interstar will make its German debut as a camper van. Equipped with flexible modules from conversion partner "PlugVan", the large van can be fitted with either a living unit or a workshop module. The Japanese manufacturer will also be showcasing two further variants of its conversion solutions in the camping and caravan sector at the 180 square meter stand in Hall 16: the Primastar - Seaside by Dethleffs and the Primastar Flexvan.

The Primastar campervan conversion was developed in collaboration with motorhome specialists Dethleffs and is characterized by compact dimensions, a flexible seating and sleeping area layout and a five-year warranty. On board are a kitchenette, up to six individual seats and four sleeping berths - two of which are located under the large pop-up roof with a roof shell made of hail and stone impact-resistant, glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) and gas pressure dampers.

Another vehicle on the Nissan press stand is the Nissan Primastar - Flexvan, which can be used as a business or family and leisure shuttle with two, four, five, six, seven or eight seats. The vehicle can also be optionally equipped with a pop-up roof and reclining bench seat. (aum)
