Nissan Interstar starts from 33,550 euros
The new Nissan Interstar will be rolling into German dealerships in the fall. The Japanese car manufacturer is already opening the configurator for the first variants of the large van with diesel engine drive, which are available at prices starting from 33,550 euros (excluding VAT).
The diesel version is optionally available with a six-speed manual gearbox and outputs of 105 hp (77 kW), 130 hp (96 kW) and 150 hp (110 kW) or with a nine-speed automatic gearbox with 150 hp (110 kW) and 170 hp (125 kW). In addition, different wheelbases and a wide range of conversions will be available ex works in future, including tippers, platform and panel vans as well as the panel van crew cab. The portfolio will be expanded by local partnerships that can equip the Interstar with a living unit or workshop module in addition to a horsebox or lightweight box body using flexible modules.
Further versions will follow, including the Interstar-e electric variant with an 87 kWh battery, which will be offered for the first time this year and will enable a range of up to 460 kilometers depending on the equipment variant. The DC fast-charging function is designed to recharge the battery for up to 252 kilometers in thirty minutes. A smaller 40-kWh battery is said to provide a range of up to 200 kilometers with a 30-minute charging unit. (aum)
