Toyota sends over 4000 employees to the Paralympic Games

More than 4000 Toyota employees from all over Europe will be live guests at the Paralympic Games and can actively cheer on the athletes. 110 of them come from Germany, including 75 employees from Toyota dealerships. They have been able to qualify since the beginning of 2022 via a specially programmed app. It was aimed at around 100,000 European employees in retail, production and administration and was offered in 34 languages.

Over 22,000 employees downloaded the "Start Your Impossible" app and have since completed various challenges each quarter, which were rewarded with points. These challenges not only required sporting prowess, but also volunteering activities and knowledge tests on various topics.

There were also special rewards, such as starting places in the "Marathon pour tous" (Marathon for all) on August 10, 2024, in which over 20,000 participants will run through the French capital on the Paris marathon route - including two successful app winners from Germany. Another highlight was the torch relay through France.
